Koyomiaruki

Walking with the moon and the seasons

Koyomiaruki screens: an evening scenery with today's steps, today's microseason with sunrise and sunset, and the walking notebook

A step counter for walking in search of the season, through the 72 microseasons of the Japanese calendar. It never sets a step goal — instead, it tells you what is outside today. The 72 microseasons change every five days, and sunset and the first stars are calculated for your prefecture.

  • The 72 microseasons, with scenery that repaints every five days
  • Sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset, with the moon drawn in its current phase
  • Small prompts that only make sense in this season
  • A walking notebook that files your photos under each microseason

No rankings, no streaks, no badges. Every record stays on your device.

Negoto Recorder

Snoring and sleep-talk recorder

Detects snoring and sleep talking while you sleep, records just those moments, and keeps a log for each night. Recordings, sleep logs and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to the developer or any third party.

  • Volume-threshold detection that records only the moments that matter
  • A quietness score for every night, with the time and volume of each event
  • Automatic cleanup by storage limit and retention period, with protection for recordings you want to keep
  • CSV export of your logs (the iOS version also transcribes sleep talk)

Not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose or treat sleep apnea or any other condition.

FreeCell Levels

FreeCell solitaire, sorted by difficulty

FreeCell Levels screens: the home screen with difficulty levels, a deal in progress, and the clear screen with moves and time

FreeCell solitaire, sorted by difficulty. Beginner, intermediate and advanced are divided by the minimum number of free cells a deal needs. Master is the 17 deals that FreeCell enthusiasts have long regarded as the hardest.

  • Deal numbers #1 to #32000 — the same number always gives the same layout
  • Beginner, intermediate and advanced by free cells needed, plus 17 master deals
  • Hints show the next move of a solver’s solution, or a reasonable move when it can’t solve within its search limit
  • Moves, time and stars per deal, and your winning streak

Your records and unfinished deals are stored only on your device.

Arrow Chain Puzzle

Set up the chain. Tap once.

Arrow Chain Puzzle screens: a board of arrows, a five-chain, and the clear screen with the score

Tap an arrow and it moves the way it points, right off the board. Hit another arrow's line and it stops, reserved; once the exit clears, every reserved arrow follows. The more arrows leave in one tap, the higher the score climbs — a puzzle about where to start the collapse.

  • 60 levels. Boards grow, arrows multiply, lines start to bend
  • Stars measure you against the best known solution of each board
  • Hints show how to build the chain. Remove an arrow when you are stuck
  • Leave mid-level and pick up the same board next time

Your records and boards in progress are stored only on your device.

A rough idea is enough — it does not have to be a spec yet. A second opinion on a technology decision is also welcome.
