FreeCell Levels

FreeCell Levels Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Overview

FreeCell Levels ("the App") is a personal app for playing the solitaire card game FreeCell, sorted by difficulty.

All settings, records, and games in progress are stored only on your device. They are never sent to the developer's or any third party's servers. The developer never receives any of your data.

The App displays ads. Ads are served by Google (AdMob), and for this feature alone the device communicates with Google. See "Advertising" below.

Information stored on your device

TypeContentsLocation
RecordsGames played, deals solved, streaks, and per-deal moves, times, and starsApp-private storage on device
Game in progressThe current deal, move history, elapsed time, and remaining hintsApp-private storage on device
SettingsLanguage, suit colors, theme, card size, sound, and other preferencesApp-private storage on device

All of the above is stored in the private area the operating system allocates to the App (Android: app-private storage / iOS: app sandbox). Other apps cannot read it.

Information we do not collect

The App does not collect any of the following:

  • Personal information such as name, email address, or phone number
  • Location data (the App never asks for location permission)
  • Contacts, photos, calendar, or data from other apps
  • Usage analytics (the App contains no analytics SDK or crash reporting SDK)

The App has no account registration and requires no sign-in.

Your records and games are never used for advertising. No game data is passed to ad serving; it never leaves the device.

Advertising

The App shows two kinds of ads. Both are served by Google (AdMob).

  • Banner ads appear at the bottom of the home, stats, and game screens. They are never placed over the board itself.
  • Rewarded ads appear only when you have used up your hints and choose "Watch an ad". Watching one adds more hints. They never appear unless you choose them, and there are no full-screen ads that interrupt play or the end of a game.
  • Ads are always requested as non-personalized. They are not tailored to your interests.
  • No tracking. The App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not obtain the advertising identifier (IDFA).
  • However, Google does use device identifiers for frequency capping and fraud prevention. Identifier use within that scope is unavoidable.

In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the App shows a consent prompt for advertising on first launch. You can change your choice at any time under "Privacy options" in Settings. No ads are loaded until consent has been handled.

Google's handling of data is governed by Google's privacy policy:

https://policies.google.com/privacy

Data handled by the advertising SDK

The App Store "App Privacy" section and the Google Play "Data safety" section list the following data that Google's SDK handles in the course of serving ads. All of it is used for ad delivery and fraud prevention only; it is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.

  • Identifiers (device ID) — a device identifier may be used for frequency capping and fraud prevention.
  • Usage data (advertising data, product interaction) — which ads were shown or tapped.
  • Diagnostics (crash and performance data) — diagnostic information that keeps the ad SDK running reliably.
  • Coarse location — the IP address that reaches Google as part of any network request may be used to estimate a country- or region-level location.

The App itself never collects or stores any of this.

Transmission outside the device

Apart from ad serving, the App performs no network communication. It contains no analytics SDK or crash reporting SDK.

Data retention and deletion

  • Records and settings remain on the device until you delete them.
  • Uninstalling the App removes all data it has stored from the device.

Because the developer holds none of your data, there is nothing to request deletion of from the developer.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date revised.
