What is a deal number?

Deals are numbered #1 to #32000, and the same number always gives the same layout. You can play the same deal as a friend and compare moves and times, or return to a favorite deal later.

Tap "Pick a deal" on the home screen to enter a number.

I cannot solve #11982

#11982 is the one deal in 1–32000 that has been proven impossible. The App warns you when you enter it, and it is never chosen by "New deal".

How is difficulty decided?

Easy, Medium, and Hard are based on the minimum number of free cells needed to solve the deal (Easy: at most 1, Medium: 2, Hard: 3 or more). Nightmare is a set of 17 deals long regarded by FreeCell enthusiasts as the toughest.

I ran out of hints

Each deal comes with 3 free hints. After that, watching an ad adds 3 more. You choose whether to watch each time.

Hints show the next move of a solution the solver finds from the current position. If a card can be sent to a foundation, the hint shows that card first. When the solver can’t solve the position within its search limit, the App suggests a reasonable move instead.

Does leaving a deal affect my stats?

If you have made at least one move and then start another deal or restart the same one, that game counts as a loss and your streak ends. The App asks before you leave.

There is no sound

Check that "Sound effects" is on in Settings. On iPhone, sounds are muted while the silent switch is on. The App never stops music playing in other apps.

Where are my records stored? Can I transfer them to a new phone?

Only on your device. They are never sent to any server. See the Privacy Policy for details.

There is no transfer feature. Uninstalling the App deletes your records.

Ads are not showing

Ads may fail to load depending on your connection. The game works regardless. If a rewarded ad cannot be loaded, the hints are added anyway.
